Birth Doula Support Includes:

Our doulas provide compassionate support from pregnancy through birth and into the postpartum period.

On-Call Communication

Throughout your pregnancy, your doula will be available by email, text, or calls to respond to any messages or questions in a timely manner.

Continuous Labor & Delivery Support

Once labor begins your doula will be there anytime you want us and stay with you as desired through the birth. During the two weeks before and after your estimated due date, your doula will not make any additional travel plans.

Prenatal Planning

Before booking, you can contact us for a free consultation. We will meet to answer any questions you may have about our doula services.

Postpartum Visit

After your birth, we will visit with you two times in the early postpartum period. At these visits we will chat about your birth experience, offer assistance for breastfeeding and provide other support where needed.

Free Consultation

During the prenatal period, we will meet with you one or two times to share information and resources, help you develop your birth plan, and answer questions that you and your partner may have.

What is a Birth Doula?

A Birth Doula's role is to offer expecting families with emotional and physical support, evidence based information, assistance with planning, and advocacy during birth.

Why hire a Doula?

The research is clear! Hiring a Doula increases movement, relaxation, and comfort in labor. It decreases the likelihood of additional medical intervention such as Pitocin, pain meds, forceps, and C-section. In turn, improving family bonding and postpartum emotional health.

Does it matter where I plan to give birth?

Nope! As Doulas we are there to support you whether you decide to give birth in the hospital, a birth center, or at home. We will meet you where you are most comfortable.

When is the best time to reach out?

You can book with us as early as your first trimester and all the way into your third trimester. The longer we have together, the more we get to know each other, which helps us provide more personalized support. Booking by 20 weeks ensures we have time to schedule two prenatal visits. We book on a first-come, first-serve basis and spots can fill quickly.

What if I plan to get an epidural?

We would love to support you through that experience. Getting an epidural has benefits and risks; we can provide you with information about epidurals, and provide support during labor and delivery with an epidural.
